Today's Flowers: Flowers from my garden... *)'...'(*...

My garden has many kinds of plants. You see, my mom loves to plant in every piece of ground she sees. This season there aren't many flowers. However I found some blossoms.

This is the "night flower". Its peculiarity is that the flowers are closed during the day and...

...open again as the sun sets, giving a sweet scent to the air!

I love the "jasmine". It's the first plant of my garden and we almost "lost" it when snow covered it up last winter. Luckily, my hubby's care saved it!

This is "mint". We have a lot of that and we use it in our cooking continuously.
It smells and tastes great!

Finally, I want to show you this orange flower which is called "....".
Oh... I totally forgot the name!!! Please help me if you know that kind of plant!

I love the flowers and I have seen the orange one before, but I forget the name too. Sorry.
I love your blog and your country. It is the most beautiful place. I do not know Salamini but I know some of the islands.

Have a great day.

It is good to smell flowers like jasmin just from the garden. I sometimes tend to forget the plants too and good thing hubby is there =) Kudos! Have a great week ahead!

I love our garden. In spring when all the flowers are blooming, the sight is gorgeous.

Great your flower shots.
Does the first one have a black seed?
It is so beautiful but I´ve lost its plant several times. Though it´s a medical herb.

The first ones look like what I have in my yard and call four o'clocks. They are all very pretty! Nice shots!

Yes but in Greece you still have really hot temperatures when we have already 10°C and real Autumn or so...
My husband's sister often envies us that it is so much cooler here in Austria and we think that we would love to have warmer temperatures...
;)
That's life!

The first two shots actually look like nicotania, the night flower. Sorry I cannot help you with the orange one, however!

Your garden has a nice selection of flowering plants, and I'll bet what you've shown today isn't all of them, especially if your mother likes to plant everywhere. I don't recognize the orange flowers, either.

I love flowers with nice, strong scents!

I would call the orange one "trumpet vine." The are many varities, and I do not know which yours is, but it looks similar to a common one we cultivate here and grows wild where I used to live in Missouri.

Such a variety of beautiful blooms! I don't know the name of the orange one either but some kind of trumpet sounds right to me because of the long "neck" it has.

Come and see mine. This is my first entry .

Paulie also knows as PERBS

Beautiful shots of your flowers.

I looked in the comments to find the name of your red flowers, but the answer wasn't here.
Just got curious, browsed the net and here it is.

Cape Honeysuckle
Botanical name: Tecomaria capensis
Family: Bignoniaceae (Jacaranda family)

Cross check it on the net.
