I'm living for almost a month here in Brussels.
During this month we've visited many places and I'm ready to share the pictures with you! It's a way for you to see how I've spent these days...
the flower carpet in Grand Place
a fountain made by chocolate (yummy!!!)
Dinant, a city on the river Meuse
mussels, french fries and beer,
the Belgian traditional specialite
(the reason I've earned ...kilos!)
Roermond, the outlet village in the Netherlands
(the reason my wallet is empty!)

Looks like you're having a great time there. I say it's totally worth it. Good for you. The flower carpet is marvelous & I would love to see it in person. :)

How wonderful to take a one month vacation! Though yes, that would be tough on the wallet. ;)
Thank you for the lovely photos. The flower carpet is fabulous!
Wonderful Marina! It's would be nice if you could come to Rotterdam and meet me there. I live not so far from Rotterdam. And you could have a day at my place and see the windmills. See you, I hope! Have a nice week.
Μαρίνα μου σου απάντησα αλλά νομλίζω ότι τα κατάφερες μια χαρά και μόνη σου μάλλον άργησα!

Terrific places you have visited. Nice to have so much time there.
What a lovely and sunny place! It looks like you've had a good start in Belgium!
I´ve never been there, but it looks like a great place.
And I live in Brussels since 1959 ! This year I missed the flower carpet because I was in England.
Come visit my blog, to see what theme I picked for the Culinary Smackdown September 2010. You will find that the theme I chose fits very well with your new country! I've heard this is something the Belgian people know well!
Love your photos Marina, looks like a beautiful country. So nice to see you and your family.
Welcome to Belgium! You pictured it well, I love seeing it through your eyes!
There is a site I often visit when I try to find things to do in Belgium during the weekend, but it's in Dutch. I'm not sure if you'll be able to read it? It's here: http://www.wattedoen.be/
